Zoe Sinclair is a Black and Vietnamese filmmaker originally from Bristol, CT. She is currently based in Brooklyn, NY, working as an Associate Producer at Story Syndicate. She graduated from Yale with a BA in Film and Media Studies with distinction in the major, and was an original member of Foothills Film Collective (foothillsfilm.org). While she is interested in many different genres, her work primarily focuses on stories of love, whether it be romantic, familial, or platonic. A multifaceted creative, she has extensive experience in producing and editing, in addition to her work as a writer/director.
In 2025, she wrote, directed, and produced a musical short film, which is currently in the festival submission process. Her most recent releases are THE SUN, THE MOON, AND THE WORLD, a dramatic short film, and LOVE LIKE THE MOVIES, a video series exploring real life love stories and how they often resemble the ones we see in film.
